ABOUT TRUFFLE FILMS

Truffle Films LLC is an independent development / production company formed in 2005 by Dr. Tina Fine.

Managing member Dr. Fine, a native New Yorker, received her Ph.D. in Economics at Columbia University in 1989. Her academic training and economics background complements her creative writing role at Truffle Films.

While pursuing her degree, Dr. Fine received teaching and research assistant fellowships. Dr. Fine’s dissertation on the impact of emerging technologies on competition in Residential Real Estate Brokerage affords a unique perspective on the changing economics of Film Production and Distribution.

After graduation, Dr. Fine worked first as a Senior Analyst in the Antitrust Group at National Economic Research Associates, a consulting firm in White Plains, NY and then at The Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an Economist in the Banking Studies Department.
